You are correct, and perhaps I should have clarified that the sticking point is being unable to place components inside a namespace. While you might be able to successfully namespace a portion of your code in the standard way, distributing an entire Unity package with no classes inheriting from MonoBehaviour or EditorWindow is unlikely. In such cases workarounds like the ones I described may be necessary.

Actually you can use namespaces in Unity, except for classes that inherits from MonoBehaviour. No need to use nested classes or partial classes.

public namespace SuperAI {
    public class Pathfinding {
    }

    public class BehaviourTree {
    }
}

Hi Martijn,

Currently Lumos is free while we figure out how much is appropriate to charge. We want to make the service affordable by any developer, though of course we have to cover our server costs. There's always going to be a free option though -- we want developers to be able to evaluate Lumos without any worries.

Cheers,
Martijn 'Tinus' Zandvliet
